Often feels like someone has pressed slow-mo button on life when queueing in here. Usually only one member of staff on till. Self service tills are available but are usually knackered, often only one working and "card transaction only". Have been using this Co-op as my local shop, going in most days, for nearly five years and still the staff don't show any signs of recognition. I know it's de rigeur to ask for ID but come on! Remembering a face shows good customer practice, courtesy, and gratitude for loyalty.
They ordered my favourite wine for me- in bulk!!! Very helpful staff which made the company a fair few quid as it's not like economies of scale were applied..! x
Had a argument with the security guard for walking in with no shoes on and was told I was going to get arrested and called a second class citizen!! The manager came out and said it was fine and I was able to continue with my shopping but bad form coop this guy isn't showing your values. Generally the staff that work there are happy and chat well with the kids but all this is tarnished by a jobs worth
Very helpful staff, and massively reduced veg and bread, when nearly out of date.
Patrick who works there is very helpful. He should get a medal for helpfulness. If we discovered a new planet we should call it Patrick. If we ever find the origin of our own existence I am sure Patrick would have had something to do with it.
