Always a lovely site. Large central area around a green and next to a wooded area with pitches throughout. No washing or toilet facilities so good value at 14 per night. Well maintained. Good waste disposal, water and chemical toilet facility. V clean. Been many times over the years and will come back.

I visited mid September so end of season so not busy but quite a few caravans still there. Good selection of close sites and those in the wooded area with a bit more space around them. These are ideal if you have several dogs like us so that they don't get disturbed with people walking past your awning on a regular basis. Good dog walking area, all the services were within easy reach and worked well. Local caravan shop in Uckfield if you need spares so not far away. I would stay there again for a few days.

Lovely spot and the wardens are friendly and helpful. It's like a CL, but larger. Within easy reach of many attractions in Sussex. The slight downsides are twofold; the noise from the dogs at an adjacent dog breeder's house, and that many of the best grass pitches (which we prefer) are taken up as seasonal bookings, so you may only have mainly hardstandings to choose from. Having said that, the warden was lovely in freeing up a grass pitch for us. Would definitely visit again.

The approach road, Stalker's Lane, is very narrow - you don't want oncoming vehicles if you are towing a caravan. The site is beautiful, with a choice of well-spaced pitches in woods, glades and an open field. There's no shower block or toilets. We found phone reception patchy - some parts of the site were better than others, so choose your pitch carefully if this is important to you. It's very quiet with plenty of wildlife.

A very well kept caravan site. Lovely friendly staff and polite and helpful. The site has no toilets but has water points and chemical waste points, all of which were very well kept and clean. There isn't much to do as its in the middle of no where but has lovely country walks and great scenery. We will no doubt be going back as it is lovely and peaceful with sounds of nature. A great place to stay if you want to get away from everything
