I and my friends spent marvelous time at Lewes, staying overnight at Berkeley House this September. Our goal was to visit Charleston and Monk House (all about Bloomsbury Group). But we did not know what to expect from Lewes. We were pleasantly surprised by how charming, full of history that little town was. We really enjoyed the time spent there. But above all, the biggest surprise was staying at Berkeley House. 200 years old that beautiful townhouse has a charm, elegance and very well maintained. Location is superb for everything: shopping, beer, food. You name it.Amanda made a great breakfast for us and other family stayed at the House at the same time. We felt we did not want to leave.Highly recommend Lewes and Berkeley House. To those who interested in Bloomsbury Group I do need to say much. Come over, you will not get disappointed.

Great place for a short break - good location and decent price.Amanda and Adam are lovely and create a really welcoming atmosphere. Although new to the business, they clearly know what they are doing and what people want. The house is fresh, quiet and modern - Our room was bright and spotless. Amanda offered a great choice at breakfast, which was all delicious!
