Had lunch at Bills Lewes today with friends and 4 small children. I was so impressed with the staffs interaction, kindness, attention to detail and playfulness. Made a lunch out that bit extra special! Very very impressed! And the food was amazing!! We will be back with a smile on our faces to match yours! Thank u!
Popular and busy when I ate at lunchtime. Great menu choice as well as a set choice. Nice rustic feel. You're quite close to other diners. Food is tasty, well cooked and well presented. Portions are generous. Dessert is delicious, especially the warm, cinnamon doughnuts with chocolate and salted caramel dips. Lovely service and good, clean toilets. Impressed.
Ill be honest and I am not generally a huge fan of Bills but my experience here today really wowed me. Good food and fast service but more than anything fantastic friendly service with personality. Our server was amazing and everyone who brought food/drinks to us were clearly happy in their jobs. You could see the manager leading that from the front. An outstanding experience. Keep up the great work.
Great Full English Breakfast - but could eat two!On a Sunday morning, there's nothing to beat a Full English and Bill's in Lewes is a good place to head. The cafe is lively and the theme very rustic and colourful.My only concern is the authentic feel to Bill's has become too polished and you just need to look at the size of the portions to know there's some out the back with a set of scales and tweezers to count the baked beans!Only four stars from me as there's scope for improvement - the feels of authenticity.
How refreshing to find a restaurant that makes delicious gluten free meals. It's been a while since i ate such a wonderful burger!! My son, also gluten free, had the same and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done Bills. Well worth a visit!
