Beautiful, tucked away cafe that's great for a simple sandwich, tea, coffee, or cake in the park. Very reasonably priced and nice staff.
Amazing location within the public gardens. A little kiosk (hole in the wall) just under the incredible magnolia tree. Freshly made sandwiches, homemade cakes, teas, coffees, cold drinks and Ice creams are available to order. All drinks and food are served on China cups and plates. The sandwich selection seems neverending! The cakes are delicious, my favourite so far is the lemon drizzle! The staff are friendly and helpful, although remember it's essentially an ice cream van so there will be a little wait for food if they are busy! No cappuccinos or lattes here, but good Rombouts coffee and a lovely selection of fruit and herb teas. The Marshfield ice-cream they sell is amazingly good All in all a lovely place to visit with friends...or even just to sit with a mug of tea and people watch! Just remember it is cash only!! I learnt the hard way!
