Great beer, small but big on character pub just across the street from Harvey's Brewery
Had a decent Saturday pub lunch in here on a rainy day. Tagliatelle with mussels and my wife had the vegan burger. Tasty and well presented. Was very busy in the bar and area but we found a table okay and were served at the bar very efficiently. Nice bunch of clientele and we felt welcome with our baby and pram. Note the baby change facilities are clean and very handy. Thank you.
Good fare, if a little expensive. Not the best kept beer, but certainly not bad.I like the interior layout with all the casks on show and the old wooden furniture.Location is great, near all the shops in Cliffe High Street, but views are limited to a rear carpark.No garden, just some benches on the narrow road that looks towards said carpark.No real place to park a bike, except on a gate alongside the narrow road (careful it doesn't get run over).
A cracking pub in the centre of Lewes.Staff are very welcoming. Food is always good, but Sunday roasts are a particular highlight.Beer is outstanding and you'll never get a bad pint.A real credit to the brewery. They serve you well!
Nice place at the river edge. Love the slow music n more talkative people. Good collection of their own brewery. Prices r just so low for their awesome stuff. Staff is so friendly n helpful. Really enjoying it. Thanks for not disappoint me as visiting from London
