This was a lovely Sunday lunch spot after a walk. Great service, beers and attentive staff. Very enjoyable, and popular so it is best to reserve a table. Liked the vegan risotto with fresh pea shoot garnish.
Traditional old pub. Good location for walkers. Good food with fast service. You need to book on the weekend.
Had a lovely coffee by the open fire. Staff were very friendly. Nice to see a pub with lots of custom on a weekday. Dogs and kids seem welcome. Very family friendly
Found what we thought was a quiet day - people back to work after Christmas. Entered, half the tables are booked and then we order food. I can understand why. Soon became every table full. Food was awesome. Staff were kid friendly, patient, happy to help. Will be eating here again.
A really lovely pub. Get there early as very popular. The reason it drops a star is I have eaten there several times and the food is never seasoned or not seasoned enough. Which is a shame as it is well cooked and presented. But a beautiful pub and worth a visit.
