Great selection of craft beers. Super friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about all the delicious beers on offer. Great tapas too, what's not to love!!
The breakfast and the service were great!It's smaller than you'd guess from outside, all hard surfaces and would have liked it to be a bit warmer - but the produce made up for that.
The patch, not named in an eponymous manner I am told, it a lovely quirky caf come bar just off the high street.With seating ranging from a few tables with chairs, some tables with pew style benches and some bar stools facing the road to the right of the door the are seating options for all tastes.Run by Patch (The patch has a little "p" so not named after him, apparently) the is a selection of good food from a modest menu available to 3pm (not sure if later a different menu if done, or if the kitchen closes). The pleasant and welcoming behaviour makes everyone feel like they belong.The coffee is excellent, the beer (sorry ale!) Is hand picked and on font behind the bar with an impressive range of clips showing the wide types of ales that are sold throughout the year. Even as a competitor (I am bar manager at another pub in town) I am welcomed and feel at ease here, something that I do not often find. And always look forward to returning.I would recommend trying the brownies, they are delicious. Taking a seat and relaxing from a trek up the hill or a hard day's work!
Really nice place for a quality beer or two.The lady behind the bar was very knowledgeable about the beers on offer and couldn't do enough to help. I didn't eat there but the menu looked good and all locally sourced.I would recommend a visit when in Lewes and I will make an effort to visit again.
Really lovely, cosy clean place. Great, friendly service, and fantastic breakfast. Very generous portions and very tasty as well as well presented. Definitely value for money,and would definitely go again. Only small, so go early! This I'd a very well run small business, compliments to the people running it.
