Pretty cool pub on Lewes High Street. I usually come here as a base of operations on bonfire night as you can reliably get some nice beer and they usually do something like a hogroast out the back.Also had a wedding reception here a few years ago which was cool.
I went here on Wednesday 09/01/19 to meet a friend I had not see in 2 years. Very nice pub not to busy not to quite. Good service good food, fair price I go again.
Good beer, range of wines. Fast service by owners and a small team of staff with an interest in the business and a very nice setting to boot. Main bar area and some tables are accessible for wheelchair users. Its an old building so mind the step!
Great food. Warm and welcoming establishment. Very friendly and helpful staff. Left with a smile on my face. What more do you need.
This is s great spot. They are really friendly people and a very cosy atmosphere. The food is a high standard and more imaginative than you usual - the flank steak was excellent.
