The children in the group (aged 11-16) absolutely loved this site. Fantastic woods to explore & build dens in with the added bonus of Geoffrey the camel. Fantastic!
A friendly campsite in a nice settings. Hot water for washing up and showering, toilers are basic but clean. Nice and close to the local shops and pubs.
Lovely spacious campsite. Basic but hot showers (love showering without a roof!). Nice to wake up seeing alpacas and the river nearby. Easy to find and friendly. Philip hung around and waited for us even though we get there til 8.30pm and when we had no cash for wood let us pay him the next day when we'd been to a cash point. Really welcoming and environmentally friendly campsite. And lovely touch by each pitch having their own fire pit! Ours got used plenty!
Lovely weekend stay with the girls at the Alpaca camp. Spacious pitches, hot shower and a very welcoming owner- He even helped us light our bonfire!!Very enjoyable seeing the Alpacas, llamas and even Jeffery the camel!
Great back to basics campsite in a beautiful location. We enjoyed our two night stay wild weather and all! The pitches are large and well planned out so it does not feel busy at all. The owner and his son were very friendly too. My only suggestion would be to install composting loos to match the open air shower.
