This is a small uncommercial feeling camp site that mostly consists of lots of hazelnut trees in a small forested area. It has basic hot showers and a place to do washing up. A simple place to go back to nature a little bit.

Had a great night here, perfect setting for a get away! Great fun

Hugo was an excellent host and was very helpful and had great information . Excellent facilitys , very peaceful and relaxed . Waking up to singing birds and fresh air was just what we all needed The wheel barrow s provided was an excellent idea . Made things that little bit easier for transporting your items etc . BBQs on site , showers , washing area , toilets and Ample parking for the cars .

Very pretty site with lovely yurts and pitches but let down by the filthy toilets and showers with overflowing sanitary bins. The stairs to toilets were not fixed properly with handrail and as a disabled person this was dangerous. Everything I put in the communal fridge was stolen including freezer packs. For an overpriced 75 a night i would be expecting a much higher standard of cleanliness. Will not be returning .

A lovely family run forest campsiteI have camped at Wyld Wood Campsite three times now and love the idea of Woodland camping. Plus when the night falls, the communial areas light up and look so magical! The site is clean and tidy, and people that visit are very friendly. You have a mix of people with their families listening to music and enjoying each others company, couples camping, friends hanging out in the woods. The nice thing is the pitches are quite far apart and surrounded by trees. Overall lovely experience everytime. You can purchase wood from the site owner Hugo and build a camp fire in the allocated pitch fire pit. The pitches are also very spacious and clean. When booking the last visit, there was a technical glitch and the system double booked the pitch. I was very impressed with how empathetic Hugo was and how he went out of his way to still accommodate our planned family weekend. He was also very friendly with the children, speaking with them about snakes and the local wildlife.I would recommend this campsite.
