I agree with most of the other reviews. A great little site in a perfect location to get up onto the South Downs. Very basic facilities which is fine but the price is a little steep (hence 4 stars rather than 5).
Plenty of open space and some woods for kids to play in, which helped our having a great weekend here with family and friends. New shower huts look good (opening soon) and the older, open topped, ones were fine too. Plenty of fairly decent chemical toilets/porta-loos. Great location for walking, etc.
Great campsite in a fantastic location. The site was really nice with the long grass between pitches affording a little privacy. Quite family orientated when we were staying but nice little pubs nearby and Middle Farm.
Good access to south downs, quiet area. Due to low tech outside facilities it lends itself to summer camping only. Short walk to village pub
A gorgeous campsite, set in foothills of South Downs. The field is perfect for camping, flat and well drained, and we found the facilities great - looking forward to the new toilet block. Great walks all around. Site manager Steve was lovely as well, very laid back but attentive, came and checked every day. I agree it is hard to find off the A27 although with the postcode they gave us and Waze it directed us to the correct place. Also, if you've got very young kids the huge amount of thistles in the field will cause some grief, for sure! But apart from that, it was perfect.
