I am sorry to give a three star rating, but I think people need to be aware that the highway is really loud and can be heard all day and all night from the campsite. It is a lovely camping, with clean facilities and friendly employees, only we couldn't feel we were in nature, with such an intense sound of traffic. On the plus side, there are many hikes nearby and again, nothing to complain about except the noise.
Lovely campsite in a great location. Only a short bus ride from Brighton or Lewes. Well stocked shop, helpful staff and really nice, clean facilities. Would definitely stay again.
Very beautiful campsite! Working farm in a very convenient spot. Spacious pitches with a nice view over the hills, possibilities for campfires and a quiet night's sleep. The facilities were very nice; free and hot showers, and even a charging area with converters.
Situated on the South Downs way, this is a wonderful place to stay whether you are walking the Way or on a camping holiday. The facilities are excellent and very clean. The view is amazing especially at sunset when the Downs are lit up in spectacular colours. I would highly recommend a stay here.
Well run friendly campsite. Good basic washing and toilet facilities. No electric hook-ups. Fire pits provided on pitches. No plugged in music allowed. Some cabins available. Child and dog friendly.
